Hopewell Remains a UMC Congregation

Following the recently announced Bishop's protocol for disaffiliation from the United Methodist denomination, Hopewell's church council considered whether or not to pursue disaffiliation at its meeting on Sunday, January 8, 2023. After discussion, a secret ballot vote was held. By a vote of 10-1, the council overwhelmingly voted to remain a United Methodist Congregation. Let us move with unity and intention into the future as we seek to remain faithful to Christ through the United Methodist Church...Specifically, "Hopewell United Methodist Church!"

Giving Options

As we seek to surrender completely to God, we intentionally give back a portion of our resources that God has blessed us with. We give as a sacrifice; we give to glorify God, and we give to support the ministries of our church. As you consider how much you will give please consider the following options for the methods you can use to make your offering:

1. In Person - Place your offering in the offering plate as an act of worship during the morning worship services.

2. Online – On our website click the "Give Online" button on the homepage

3. ACH – Set up automated giving with your bank

4. Mail to either 1420 Neely Ferry Road or P.O. Box 81256, Simpsonville, SC 29680

6. Realm – set up automated giving (one time or recurring) with Realm. The church office can help you set this up.
