Fostering Hope is a ministry of Hopewell United Methodist Church that seeks to walk alongside foster parents and those impacted by the foster care system in the upstate of South Carolina. 

We offer:

Casseroles of Caring: If you have had a stressful day due to medical or legal appointments, you are encouraged to contact us to pickup a casserole for your family. 

Hope Closet: We have a building full of supplies for new or ongoing placements. If you need it and we have it, it is yours—at no cost.  We are always accepting gift cards for the Hope Closet. 
If you're interested in a tour of the Hope closet  or are interested in volunteering to fulfill foster family requests - just ask Reenie.

Reverse Foster Care: Do you need DSS-mandated home repairs to keep your children out of the foster care system or to allow your children, already in foster care, to come home? Contact us and let us know how we can help. 

HOPE BREAKFAST

Hopewell hosts an annual breakfast for those who work in or near foster care in South Carolina!  This gives us the opportunity to share how Hopewell is able to assist the foster care system as well as get feedback as to where there may still be holes to be filled or additional assistance needed!
